Here's important information if you plan to travel to the show on Saturday, June 19. There will be a parade passing the Greater Columbus Convention Center on High Street beginning at 12 noon and ending at approximately 130 pm. For those of you that are familiar with the area, the parade will lineup at Front Street between W. Broad and Town (facing North) turn right on Broad, Left on High St., Travel North on High St and turn Right on Buttles ending at Buttles and Dennison.

Please plan accordingly and provide a bit of extra travel time so you don’t miss out on all that KC2010 has to offer.

Getting There
Knitters Connection will be held at the Columbus Convention Center, located just five blocks from the State Capitol, six miles from Port Columbus International Airport and five minutes from Ohio State University.

Parking

Hotel

Rooms are available for Knitters Connection participants at the Hampton Inn.  Call 614.559.2000 or click here to make your reservations.  Identify yourself with Knitters Connection when you make your reservation by phone or use the reservation code KC8 online.  Single rooms available for $135 plus tax. Double rooms are available for $145 plus tax.  Suites are available. All rates includes breakfast.

AIRPORT SHUTTLE SERVICE

Transportation from Port Columbus to Hampton Inn can be found at the Passenger Pick-up area currently located on the upper level outside the main terminal.

Shuttles operate from 6:45 AM to 1:40 AM departing every 20 minutes to downtown area hotels. Current cost range is $7.00 to $8.50 each way depending on the transportation company.
